With 17 years of experience in nursing education in roles ranging from lab manager at to dean, Desirée Hensel is the founder and CEO of Hensel Nursing Education Consulting. Dr. Hensel has widely disseminated scholarly works on teaching and testing strategies to help students acquire professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes and hold special expertise as a Q methodology researcher. As co-editor of Lippincott's Q and A Review for NCLEX RN, her workshops for NCLEX preparation are popular among faculty and students including those on preparing for Next Generation NCLEX. Dr. Hensel holds national certifications as Certified Nurse Educator, a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator, and a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist.
