Description

Thank you for registering for Celebrating Nurses: Well-being Strategies for Every Role.

Overview

This activity is designed to support nurse well-being, aligning with the International Council of Nurses’ Nurses Week theme. By focusing on well-being, we recognize its profound impact not only on individual nurses but also on patient outcomes and healthcare system performance.

The activity encourages participants to reflect on their mental, emotional, and physical well-being, exploring strategies that promote resilience, reduce stress, and enhance work-life harmony. Through guided discussions, practical exercises, and actionable tools, participants will gain insights into self-care practices that improve focus, energy, and overall effectiveness.

Objectives:

  1. Implement at least two well-being strategies tailored to the role of the participant (student, new graduate, faculty, or manager).

  1. Develop personal or organizational habits that promote resilience and prevent burnout.

  1. Identify workplace and cultural shifts that contribute to a supportive, well-being-focused environment.
